Mr. Karlin was
employed with Property
Assessment Advisors, Inc. (a.k.a. Tenant
Risk Assessment) as
Managing Director of Credit Services
beginning September 1997 and has been involved in
all phases of credit analysis for over 20 years.
Prior to this time he was
Corporate Credit Manager for
Heitman Financial, LLC
where he was responsible for performing credit
analysis for the leasing and management staff,
developing credit policies and procedures, and
overseeing legal collections. During Mr. Karlin's
tenure at Heitman, he managed to successfully
minimize bad debt levels for the firm's $100 million
accounts receivable portfolio and was responsible
for developing and implementing the "Credit Risk
Model" used as a quantitative supplement in
evaluating tenant creditworthiness.
Mr. Karlin is a graduate of the
University of Kansas
where he attained a BS in
Business Administration with a
concentration in Finance. Additionally, he received
his Associates Certificate
from the National
Association of Credit Management.
